As I start a Masters of Law at Cambridge University, I remain immensely greateful for the excellent education I received in high school. In retrospect, the seeds were likely sown through the vertical pastoral care homeroom system and the many leadership opportunities at Somerset. Equally formative for me was the IB Diploma course and particularly, the English curriculum.Â

The relationships I have formed with my teachers will stay with me for the rest of my life. I have become closer to my teachers because I feel encouraged to learn when they are eager to teach. My teachers want me to succeed.

Somerset provides an environment where everyone is encouraged and indeed expected to pursue excellence and achieve the goals we set for ourselves.
